Nathanj3 - Came to Doreen today last minute needing jeans altered for the same day. She did a brilliant job and her customer service along with her craftsmanship are unmatchable. Extremely helpful and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Kathryn23 - Both my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses needed taking up i didnt think mine could be done as it had a lot of lace detail at the bottom. MelanieR4 - Ordered my daughters dress online. When it arrived it was slightly too big. Panic mode started as the dress was quite detailed on top and open back so I couldn't imagine being able to adjust. However, took it stitched up by Doreen and they assured me it would be fine x The adjustments were carried out in good time and the dress fits beautifully. HelenTay3 - I bought my wedding dress in February for the wedding in may not thinking, I may put on a couple of pound i searched the internet to find some one who could alter it, I visited many websites! ZebunN - I recently placed a large order for curtains from doreen and they were made to measure perfectly..doreen and her family members helped to fit them and ensure we were entirely happy by visiting a few weeks later to see how everything was going. I would definately recommend doreen to anyone thinking of purchasing made to measure curtains and I would not hesitate to use other services such as clothing alterations in future should me or my family require this. Sandra90 - The zip had broken and the lining frayed on an outdoor jacket which was too good to throw away. The ladies were very helpful and put in a new zip for me and also pieced and repaired the lining. The job was very neat and it now looks like a new coat. I will definitely go there again. 02/04/2015

mygirls - I bought my wedding dress from Wedding Dress Factory Outlet. They do not have an alteration service here so I had to look for somewhere to have it altered. I came across stitched up by Doreen and when I called they got me an appointment straight away. Everybody was very friendly and made me feel very relaxed. With my dress being a lace with lots of bead work it was a complex task shortening the length. I left it with Doreen and she did a fantastic job, you cannot see where she has altered the length, I was so pleased. I would highly recommend Stitched up by Doreen for any wedding dress alterations, you will receive and very professional and friendly service. I am one happy bride, Thank you! 27/03/2015

Praf - I had the sleeves and the shoulders altered on a blazer at short notice. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and did a fantastic job on the alteration and completed the alterations for the time I needed it. 19/03/2015

Amy96 - Doreen and her colleagues at stitched up, were really helpful when my sister and I took our prom dresses there to be altered for our prom .They had to be shortened and taken in, and they did a perfect job. We would certainly recommend and use stitched up again  17/03/2015

dd1962 - Took 3 pairs of trousers to be altered - these were necessary for my job in the Ambulance Service. The repairs were needed urgently and I had been to 4 other outlets who were unable to help due to the design (leg pockets etc). Doreen undertake the work as a matter of urgency (completed within 48hrs). Would use again and recommend. 12/03/2015

Elisabeta - Yet again, Stitched Up by Doreen has delivered!! My fabric was delivered to her much later than expected due to being spectacularly let down by John Lewis. As usual, she worked her magic of rearranging days and my curtains are already hanging and making my landing look wonderful. The service is professional and courteous, helpful and pleasant. Perfect! TheAlison - Recently my brother & I took our jackets into Doreen to have them altered. What a fantastic job she did for us.
In less than fifteen minutes she had weighed up our sizes whizzed a few pins in here & there & heypresto she had revitalised our old jackets that had previously been languishing in our wardrobes!

Surennie_1 - Called on off chance that something could be done to alter my dress for a wedding in 3 days! As diet hadn't gone according to plan dress was a little bit snug on my hips! Denise managed to alter dress by letting seam out a fraction of an inch on each side but it made a massive difference. Now I can go to wedding feeling happy and confident that dress fits so much better! Very happy with service and professional work done and will definitely be back!  18/09/2014

Traceyxx - Daughters prom dress was to tight after her last dress fitting at home, so with only 4 days till prom we needed help and fast!! Stitched up by Doreen kept there word to get the dress to fit in time... Zip moved and beads all put back on her dress, all the staff were so nice and helpful they looked after my daughters dress with great care .... LindsayLloyd - I had a long bridesmaid style dress shortened to knee length. Despite the design being quite complicated, they did a great job at a very fair price. Really pleased with it. 13/06/2014

Elisabeta - I delivered my fabric to Doreen and Amber on Monday and was told that my blinds would be ready in approximately two weeks (I was more than happy with this). However, by Thursday of the same week the most beautiful blinds were already hanging at my two windows! They are beautifully made and expertly hung. I cannot praise them highly enough and recommend them (such professional, helpful and lovely people) with no hesitation. 07/03/2014

Wasy - I gave my wedding dress to Doreen for alteration...Doreen took the zip out and fitted a panel and loop cross tie up at the back...Doreen called me in for two fittings and gave me a honest price..the wedding shop I purchased my dress were over charging me, before weddings as u can imagine budget is tight...Doreen and her daughter were very helpful and did a outstanding job..it was very neat and was given to me before the date I expected it...why go to a wedding dress tailor when you have Doreen and her daughter for a much cheaper price and a excellent neat job..trust me I'm very fussy and I was very impressed..thank you Doreen..I had my wedding in August just a bit delayed on the review feedback..sorry.. 21/02/2014

KPBrown - Had a dress I bought in London made one off & wanted it copying in a different colour. Took it in to Doreen and Amber who said they could do it no problem. They most certainly delivered - and in much less time than they had quoted as I needed it for an occasion. Now they've got the pattern I'm going to have it made in another colour. Who needs to buy off the peg anymore!! Marvellous. 04/03/2013

AlisonCC - As ever Doreen and Amber have done a fantastic job. I always use them for any alterations etc, but this time I used them to make blinds for 2 rooms, and also curtains. I am so thrilled with their work - they have been really helpful, the work is of fantastic quality, and my home is transformed! Doreen and Amber are lovely and polite and helpful, I would recommend them to anyone 07/11/2013
